The final week of term was packed with exciting activities for our Sixth Form students.
On Wednesday, we launched the first of our weekly food tasting experiences, giving students the chance to sample new dishes that will gradually be introduced into the Bistro throughout the year. This initiative is part of a wider Bistro revamp, shaped by your feedback to bring in fresh, student-approved options. Tastings will take place every Wednesday, so keep an eye out and don’t miss your chance to try something new!
On Thursday, we were delighted to welcome the first cohort of Year 11 students to our Sixth Form Taster Day! Students enjoyed relaxing in the common room and exploring our fantastic facilities. They took part in a wide range of subject sessions – from familiar favourites to exciting new additions like Criminology. Highlights included dissecting hearts in Biology, experimenting with clay in Art, and capturing creativity through Photography and Digital Media. It was a brilliant opportunity to dive into different disciplines and discover new passions.
We ended the week by celebrating our Sixth Form Awards for Outstanding Attendance. A huge well done to all students who achieved 100% attendance this half term! Your dedication and commitment to your studies is truly inspiring. Each student received a certificate and a small token of appreciation for their outstanding effort.
Year 11 students can apply online now via EM6 Sixth Form.
And don’t forget – our Sixth Form Open Evening is on Thursday 4th December, 3pm–6pm. Come along and see what makes our Sixth Form so special!
