This afternoon, EM6 was delighted to welcome Gavin from the Catenian Association as he joined us to present cheques to three of our Year 12 students — Erin, Amy and Joe — who will be travelling to Lourdes in April as part of their pilgrimage.
Gavin spoke to the full Year 12 cohort about the mission and charitable work of the Catenians, highlighting their long‑standing commitment to supporting young people in the Catholic community. He explained how the organisation offers bursaries to help fund youth projects, including pilgrimages like Lourdes, enabling students to grow in faith, service, and personal development.
Our pilgrims were extremely grateful for the Catenians’ generosity and encouragement. Their support has brought the students one step closer to taking part in this profound and life‑changing experience. Erin, Amy and Joe are excited to share updates on their journey as the pilgrimage approaches.
We offer our sincere thanks to Gavin and the Catenian Association for their kindness, faith‑filled support, and continued belief in the young people of EM6.
