A group of our Year 12 students recently enjoyed a brilliant visit from the Oxford Catalyst Programme, held at St Catherine’s College, Oxford. The session offered tailored, practical support for university applications, giving our students a valuable glimpse into what it takes to apply to top universities.

During the visit, they took part in workshops focused on writing strong personal statements and preparing for interviews. The guidance was clear, encouraging and insightful, helping students understand how to present their strengths and experiences with confidence.

The group left feeling motivated and inspired, with a clearer sense of direction for their next steps in higher education. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to broaden their ambitions and deepen their understanding of the application process.
