Year 13 have now completed their final A Level Biology practical, marking an important milestone as they near the end of their course.

The practical task involved testing urine samples to identify cases of diabetes, requiring students to apply key biological knowledge alongside accurate laboratory techniques. The session highlighted not only their scientific understanding, but also the confidence and precision they’ve developed when working practically.

Throughout the course, the improvement in students’ practical skills has been clear to see, and this final practical was a fitting demonstration of their hard work, focus and commitment.

Well done, Year 13 — you should be incredibly proud of how far you’ve come. We are very proud of you and wish you every success in the next stage of your studies.
