Former student Jay Allan returned to EM6 this week and brought the magic of Mary Poppins to life for our performing arts students. Our Year 10, Sixth Form, and Year 9 aspiring performers were treated to an inspiring workshop filled with music, movement and professional insight.

Students explored sections of the musical’s repertoire, gaining a real taste of what it’s like to perform in a West End–style production. The session finished with a lively and engaging Q&A, where Jay shared experiences, advice and behind‑the‑scenes stories that left students feeling motivated and excited about their own creative journeys.

It was a truly uplifting day, and we are so grateful to Jay for giving our students such a memorable and inspiring experience.
What a fantastic opportunity for our EM6 performers!
